Alaska is full of unique facts. Did you know that Alaska is the largest state in the U.S. but you only access its capital of Juneau by ferry or plane? It’s also home to 100,000 glaciers, 70 active volcanoes, and has most of the highest mountain summits in the United States. Tourists flock to Alaska every year and check out events such as the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race, World Ice Art Championships, Blueberry Festival, and the Alaska Hummingbird Festival.
